The Government of NCT of Delhi owns the Institute for Liver and Biliary Sciences. It has been established as a center for diagnosing and managing liver diseases, along with research and training in the specialized field of liver and biliary sciences. Currently, the ILBS has 180 beds, including 74 ICU beds. Another wing of ILBS housing a research complex, more beds, a hepato-biliary oncology unit, an auditorium, and more is in progress.
