GRD full form in medical is Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease also known as Acid Reflex. It is a type of chronic condition in which the content of the stomach (acidic content) rises upwards and enters the Esophagus. It happens when the LES or lower esophageal sphincter (a valve or junction between the stomach and esophagus) has problems properly closing. And because of that, you may have symptoms like intense heartburn, an acidic taste in the back of the mouth, and regurgitation.
