Becoming a (FCCP) entitles you to a number of benefits, including the recognition that comes with belonging to a select group of experts in the field of chest medicine and the opportunity to actively contribute to the development of the field. For the entire team practicing chest medicine, this is a rare and exciting opportunity made possible only through CHEST.
Your dedication to your patients and CHEST will be recognized by your peers and superiors alike once you earn the FCCP accreditation.
If you qualify as an FCCP, you will be able to use that title as long as you maintain an Enhanced or Premium membership. In order to vote and run for office, you need to be a member of the FCCP. In addition to the FCCP breakfast & convocation ceremony, you will be invited to other illustrious activities at the CHEST General Meeting in the initial year as an FCCP. Certificates are issued to all new FCCPs once each quarter.
You need to be a current, paying member of CHEST either at the Enhanced and Premium level, and you need to have been a member for at least two years is one of the important requirements to be a FCCP member.
