FICOG Full Form in Medical is Fellow of Indian Colleges of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. It is the body that speaks for India’s obstetricians and gynecologists in official forums. FICOG is one of biggest membership-based organizations of specialized professionals in the United States, with 262 community members more than 37,000 members distributed across the country.
As a second resolution, it was decided that Bombay would serve as the Federation’s official registration and administrative centre. The obstetric and gynecological organizations of Bombay, Kolkata & Madras came together to form this organization called FICOG in the year1975 as the official national organization of obstetricians and gynecologists in India.
The goals of the Federation of Obstetricians and Gynecologists of Southern Africa (FOGSI) are to promote and disseminate obstetric and gynecological education and research; to pilot and encourage preventive and curative services impact on the practice of gynecology and obstetrics for the betterment of the wellbeing of women & children in specific and the wellness of the community at large; to advocate for the reason of reproductive health & rights.
The official publication of FICOG is published biweekly and distributed to each and every member. It features original articles, reviews, and contributions on both basic and applied clinical research, as well as clinical practice and case reports.
